Meet The Team

Ellen Lovelace

Board Certified in Holistic Nutrition®; Founder

I know what it feels like when your body stops making sense.
One day, many years ago, I woke up nauseated — and the nausea never left. It lingered for months, joined by dizzy spells and a rotating cast of vague symptoms. I had every test my doctors could run, and still no clear answers. Eventually, removing dairy and gluten gave me some relief, but not a roadmap for true healing.

That experience changed everything.

Once known to family as “The Dairy Queen,” I never imagined food I loved could turn against me, or that healing would require looking far beyond standard labs and protocols. But that’s exactly what led me to the world of root-cause functional nutrition.

Today, I help people like you, who feel the way I did: exhausted, inflamed, foggy, dismissed by doctors, and overwhelmed by symptoms that don’t fit in one diagnosis box. Whether you’re dealing with gut issues, hormone chaos, burnout, or complex autoimmune or mold-related illness, my goal is to help you understand what’s actually going on and create a clear, doable path back to feeling like yourself again.

I bring together deep clinical training and real-life experience. I’m a Master Restorative Health Practitioner, Board Certified in Holistic Nutrition®, and have advanced training in functional lab analysis and chronic inflammatory conditions like mold toxicity (CIRS), which I’ve also personally overcome. Before that, I spent over a decade in public health, launching programs in the former Soviet Union and co-founding the Women’s Health at Stanford initiative. My background gives me both the tools and perspective to untangle complex cases and get results that last.

When I’m not helping clients heal, you’ll find me hiking, gardening, volunteering with wildlife rehab, or watching Survivor (I’ve never missed an episode!). I live in California with my husband, cats, and an occasional foster opossum or two.

Annie-Rose Licht

Functional Nutritionist and Health Coach

Annie-Rose Licht is a Nutritional Therapy Practitioner, Restorative Health Practitioner, and Functional Blood Chemistry Specialist. She takes a holistic approach to wellness, using various forms of testing to pinpoint underlying imbalances and create customized protocols for her clients, while also looking at lifestyle factors such as sleep, stress, and movement, as these can have as much impact on our body’s functions as food!

With a specific interest in habit and behavior change, she is dedicated to supporting her clients every step of the way through their health journeys to set them up for life-long success. She sees the needs of each client as bioindividual, not just from their lab results, but because of their unique life situations. To that end, she tailors programs to suit their specific needs with deep knowledge, compassion, and accountability.

Annie-Rose is lucky to live in the beautiful Pacific Northwest with her husband and two children, ages 4 and 7. When she’s not meeting with her wonderful clients or doing nutrition research, she can be found cooking up simple, delicious nutrient-dense meals, reading, exploring nature with her family, or attempting to grow an organic garden.

What Annie-Rose’s Clients Are Saying

“Annie-Rose helped me re-establish what it means to be healthy again. I had major gut issues and was unsure where to start but knew I had to change something. Annie-Rose helped me through this process, step-by-step and discovered that some of my issues were related to food sensitivities. I wouldn’t have figured this out on my own had I not worked with her on a cleanse program and intensive healing gut work to recalibrate my gut microbiome again. After 6+ months of working with Annie-Rose, I have never felt better…with my gut issues resolved, I’m maintaining my healthy regimen and have more energy because of her program. It was EXACTLY what I needed and very grateful for her championing me every step of the way!” Samantha T

Courtenay Fisher

Board Certified in Holistic Nutrition®, Functional Nutritional Therapy Practitioner, Master Restorative Health Practitioner

Hi, I’m Courtenay! I’m a passionate mom (to human and fur babies), a distance runner turned weightlifting aficionado, and have loved Star Wars since it was blissfully nerdy,  not trendy.  I’m also a Functional Nutritional Therapy Practitioner and Master Restorative Health Practitioner who uses nourishing foods, lifestyle changes, and pinpointed testing to serve people just like you. I’m Board Certified in Holistic Nutrition® which, as Ellen explained, means that I have achieved the highest level of professional recognition and validation at my exceptional level of knowledge and experience in holistic nutrition.

My work as a functional nutritionist stems from my own lifelong health struggles. As a child, I had chronic respiratory infections that resulted in countless rounds of antibiotics, school absences, and the limiting belief that I wasn’t strong or healthy. These problems escalated into digestive issues throughout college and graduate school, and as an adult, my health continued to decline. I saw so many doctors for allergies, food sensitivities, skin issues, joint pain, brain fog, migraines and more. I was told that my symptoms weren’t significant and that I could take various prescriptions for the rest of my life to “manage” my growing list of conditions.

I felt wholly unseen and misunderstood, and I became determined to help myself and other people in my position.

Ultimately, the birth of my amazing kids propelled me to uplevel my learning and training—I had my “why,” and I committed to be the healthy, fulfilled person that my kids, my husband, and I, deserve.

My health journey, combined with my years of education and clinical experience, gives me unique insight into what works—and what doesn’t—for each bio-individual client I see.

When I’m not in my office or planning our next family adventure, you’ll find me out running or at CrossFit with friends, on (or in) the water with my family, or meal prepping like a maniac while rocking out to something from the ’80s.

I’m so excited to meet you and work together!

What Courtenay’s Clients Are Saying

“Figuring out one’s own ideal nutrition plan is very tough on one’s own. Proper nutrition is not a one size fits all proposition. Having a thoughtful, insightful, and thorough guide to finding the best way to nourish (and avoid poisoning) yourself is crucial. Courtenay Fisher is that person. Highly recommend.”

Robert V.

The Restart program taught by Courtenay was very informative. I am more conscious of what I put in my body. This was a life changing program. Courtenay even took the time to research issues that I have and discussed with me! I’m sure that was not part of the program but shows how dedicated she is to helping others live a healthy life. She even shared recipes!”

“My journey towards optimal nutrition is ongoing, and Courtenay is the reason for all my positive growth. She walks the walk, and her guidance has been instrumental in helping me change for the better. Wherever you are on your journey to better health and nutrition, Courtenay will meet you there and find what is best for YOU! Highly recommend.”
